This project was designed to turn a traditional conflict-style paper quiz into an interactive, digital experience. Using Articulate Rise's new HTML Code block, I wanted to create something learners could complete, score, and interpret in real time, without ever leaving the course.
It supports blended programmes by helping facilitators spark richer conversations in workshops and giving learners personalised insights they can return to later.
Articulate Rise - HTML - JavaScript - Learning Experience Design - Behavioural Psychology
My goal was to make a static self -assessment tool more engaging and accessible. I built a 25 item questionnaire directly in Rise using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, complete with rating scales, automatic scoring and personalised feedback. The interface dynamically displays learners's dmoninant and backup conflict styles, triggers, and de-escalators.
Because the file is self-contained, it can be dropped straight into any Rise module via the HTML Code block, no hosting required.
Building this project taught me how powerful small doses of custom code can be inside Rise. The HTML Code block opens up endless opportunities to personalise the learning experience and bridge digital tools with live facilitation.
